A Note from Fr Sojan
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am excited to announce that we have been given permission by the diocese to begin the renovation and refurbishing of our facilities. This first phase will include the refurbishing of the sanctuary, installing new flooring in the church, new pew cushions, new confessionals, paint and install new carpets & cabinets in the class rooms and renovation of restrooms. In the past few weeks we met with the Diocesan Pastoral Finance Committee, building Committee and Liturgy Committee to obtain the necessary approval. Our hope is to begin the actual work sometime in May and complete the work before the end of August. Please pray for the timely completion of this project.
Over 3.5 Million has been pledged towards our ‘Our Faith Our Family Our Future’ campaign of which 1.3 million has been redeemed. I want to thank all those who made a sacrificial gift towards our campaign. We are quite a ways short of our Challenge goal of $4.5 million which will help us to complete the construction of the formation building. If you haven’t had a chance to make a pledge towards our campaign, I invite you to prayerfully consider making a pledge. Our goal is the participation of every family in the parish. No amount is too small. What is important is equal sacrifice and not equal gifts. In the coming weeks we will be sending out letters to families that haven’t made a pledge with the humble request to prayerfully consider making a sacrificial gift to help us reach our challenge goal.
Through the intercession of St. Francis, our heavenly patron, may the Lord guide us in all our endeavors as we glorify His name in everything we do.
Yours in Christ,
