Youth Confirmation

Currently, the process to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation takes place in 10th grade for those under 18 years old who have been baptized and received first communion.

To receive Confirmation in the Spring (around April-May), a child must be registered for High School Young Church AND the Confirmation program before classes start in the Fall.

If a child has not been in and catechesis or religious education classes in a long time, we recommend they first attend at least one year of religious instruction.

For more information or questions, contact Edmund Mitchell at emitchell@sfatx.org.

Homeschool Online Catechesis Option

Parents are the primary educators and catechists in the life of their children. Ideally, all catechesis would take place firstly in the home. We are happy to provide resources for parents to guide their children directly in growing and maturing in the faith. For more information about this option, click the button below.
