Due to the ever-changing situation with the coronavirus pandemic, our St. Francis Outreach is operating under modified hours and procedures. See the schedule details below. For the most updated information on how St. Francis parish is responding to the COVID situation, click here.
If you would like to help our neighbors in need by donating to Outreach at this time, we are in need of Walmart or grocery store gift cards in $20-30 denominations and food pantry items (see list below). They can be dropped off at the Parish Office during Business Hours. You can also make a monetary donation online directly to our Outreach Fund.

$20-30 Walmart or grocery gift cards (We never ask for digital gift cards, but only physical gift cards that are brought to the parish; Walmart preferred because they can also be used for gas)
Paper boxes or paper bags (for giving out grocery orders)
We are limited in the amount of clothing or household item donations we can accept for our thrift store at this time. If you are doing spring cleaning at your house and would like to donate items for the thrift store, we ask that you contact Mary at 817-488-5444 to discuss Outreach’s current needs and to set a drop-off of your items.

TEMPORARY HOURS OF OPERATION DUE TO COVID (as of 9/8/2020):
CLIENT INTAKE: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9am – 1pm or by appt
All clients must go through GRACE first; contact Mary with any questions about the process
THRIFT STORE HOURS: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9am-12:30pm (Occupancy will be limited)
DONATION DROP-OFF HOURS: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8:30am-11:30am
Please call Mary to schedule donations so we can ensure we have the space/staffing to accept the items with COVID protocols in mind
Outreach Thrift Store and Pantry is in need of the following items:
Edible items: tuna, chicken, mac and cheese, cereal, pasta noodles, peanut butter, jelly, pancake mix, syrup, crackers, coffee, sugar, flour, cooking oil Paper goods: dish detergent, laundry detergent, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving razors, shaving cream, shampoo/conditioner, bath soap and toilet paper Grocery or Wal-Mart Gift cards for perishables. Please place all items in the Outreach Box in the Narthex or the Northwest Foyer. Please check expiration dates on food as expired food items cannot be distributed.
The Thrift Store is currently open Saturdays from 9:00 am – 11:00 am. Parishioners are welcome!!! The store carries new and gently used men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, toys and household items at an affordable price. Proceeds from SFO Thrift Store are used to provide emergency financial assistance to those in need. Items carried in the Thrift Store are those which are generously donated by our parish community. Please do not leave donations outside of the Outreach Building.
