As Catholic Christians, we’re part of a community of believers. Because we're made in God's image, we're called to be in communion with others, just as the Holy Trinity is. We share in the Communion of the Mass, we pray to the Communion of Saints, and we live in communion with our families, the Domestic Church.
Our faith journey can also be greatly improved by being in relationships with other Catholics who support us along the way. This is where small faith groups come in! Being part of a small faith group can help us to grow in our knowledge and love of God, heighten our sense of belonging, enable us to share our faith with others, and create a network of care and prayer.
Small faith groups can also help us to imitate Jesus, our model. Read the article: How Jesus Modeled Small Groups.
In 2024, we'll be forming small faith groups of 8-12 people with common interests and/or same stage of life. Several individuals and couples have graciously agreed to host a small group, and we would love to have even more hosts. We invite you to join a small group!
Our small groups will be starting up after Easter 2024.
Please give prayerful consideration to participating, and perhaps even leading or hosting a small group in your home. (There will be additional information and training provided to hosts.) For couples married less than 10 years and/or those with young children, see the information below on Together in Holiness which will be used in your small faith groups.
We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Holy Trinity Catholic School and the St. John Paul II Foundation to offer Together in Holiness (TH) for couples who've been married less than 10 years and/or for those with young children. As part of TH, spouses gather as a community of friends for a 7-part series to explore their call to holiness in and through their marriage and family life. If you and your spouse would like to participate in Together in Holiness, please register for a Small Faith Group and select "Married Couples (married less than 10 years)" or "Parents with Young Children."
