Wednesday Morning Prayer Group Celebrates 1000th Meeting
Padre Pio once said, “Prayer is the best weapon we possess. It is the key that opens the heart of God.” The Wednesday Morning Prayer Group, one ministry here at St. Francis of Assisi parish, truly takes this to heart. They have been in existence for over 35 years and just held their 1,000th prayer meeting at the end of February. Congratulations to them for reaching this remarkable milestone!!
The group strives to bring people closer in relationship with the Triune God and Blessed Mother through praise and worship, prayer and education and meets from 10:30am – noon on Wednesdays from mid-September to mid-May in Room 115. For more info on the group, read their recent write-up in The Grapevine, our parish newsletter.
